Hints of ridgely’s patchwork paper selection… peak through the rich sienna background. (One of her fav’s is the ridged cardboard square in the bottom right corner of the painting. )
The antiquing process completes the painting setting it apart from traditional paintings- please see close up views to see the unique texture and character in this painting!! The texture in this painting brings richness and depth not seen in prints.
Ingalls is an Original Painting by ridgely johnson. This is depicted by a ‘0’ next to ridgely’s signature on the front of the painting. The sides and back of the painting are painted black with additional specific documentation on the back. The painting lies flush to the wall- ready to hang when you receive- sawtooth hanger attached
The painting is finished with a minimum of 3 coats of Liquitex Professional Matte Varnish. Do not hang in direct sunlight and you will enjoy Ingalls for years to come.
The painting is wrapped and packed in an archival bag with special care and attention prior to shipping.
