Briarwood is an Auburn haired Angel Angel painted on a 16” x 16” x 3/4” cradled board. With a background of eclectic paper of assorted homestead blue… Briarwood brings a sense of peace in our too often rushed day- to- day life. “Briar” is named after a road in Hendersonville, North Carolina where my dear Aunt once owned a home.
This painting is in Mixed Media with Acrylics on Cradled Wood.
The antiquing process completes the painting setting it apart from traditional paintings- please see close up views to see the unique texture and character in this painting!!
Briarwood is an Original Painting by ridgely johnson. This is depicted by a ‘0’ next to ridgely’s signature on the front of the painting. The sides and back of the painting are painted black with additional specific documentation on the back. The painting lies flush to the wall- ready to hang when you receive- sawtooth hanger attached
The painting is finished with a minimum of 3 coats of Liquitex Professional Matte Varnish. Do not hang in direct sunlight and you will enjoy Briarwood for years to come.
The painting is wrapped and packed in an archival bag with special care and attention prior to shipping.
